Today the women of the Wednesday Club continue the tradition started by those ladies 100 years ago. They enjoy luncheons, musical programs, and fundraising to fund their various charities as well as pay for repairs to the building. They serve their community by fundraising for, and donating to such projects as the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), VOICES (Voices Youth for aged/termed out former foster youth), Meals on Wheels, Opportunity House, SafeQuest, Solano County Office of Education for Foster and Homeless Youth (via SCOE), Friends of Solano County Commission for Women and Girls. They also provide scholarships in music/fine arts, academics and advanced nursing.

We provide a sophisticated space for gatherings, events, and the enduring traditions that define our heritage. We are also a service and social club for women supporting a myriad of community organizations and promoting connection and comaraderie among our members.

On a monthly basis, members enjoy a festive luncheon offering the chance to exchange ideas and life stories, gain new perspectives, and find encouragement when facing challenges.

Members also use their leadership skills and community connections to participate in philanthropic projects that benefit others. Whether reviewing and selecting applicants for college scholarships, filling needs for local Meals on Wheels initiatives, or using design skills to help beautify the historic building and surrounding gardens, members make the world a better place.

Those with a flair for fashion – or who dreamed of a modeling career – can realize that dream by participating in the planning and runway at the Annual Fashion Show. Those with entertaining, hospitality and home décor talents can envision and create a fantastical table setting and compete in the Sensational Settings luncheon and dinners.

On the 3rd Wednesday of each month, from 1pm to 4pm, the club is available for members to have club social activities, such as book clubs, line dancing, etc.
Membership Details

Annual Dues are $75 – paid upon joining and in May of each year.

Monthly luncheon cost is $25

On an annual basis, every member selects a month to be on a Luncheon Committee – to help decide the menu, create the table settings, and help with service to other members on that day.

While not required, any member may join any standing or special committee that reflects a personal or professional interest or energy. A few of our standing/special committees include: Advertising/Marketing, BYSEP (BackYard Safety and Enhancement Project), Community Service, Fundraising, Garden, Membership Drive, Newsletter, Scholarship, and Third Wednesday Members' Activities
